Productomschrijving

Stikstofoxide (stikstofoxide of stikstofmonoxide) is een kleurloos gas met de formule NO. Het is een stikstofoxideverbinding en een kleurloos gas bij normale temperatuur en druk, slecht oplosbaar in water, oplosbaar in ethanol en koolstofdisulfide.

Typische toepassing

Medisch veld

Stikstofoxide speelt een rol in veel fysiologische processen in het menselijk lichaam, waaronder vaatverwijding, neurotransmissie, immuunreactie en celdood.
Industrieel veld

Stikstofoxide kan gebruikt worden voor de productie van salpeterzuur, rayonbleekmiddel, siliciumoxidefilm, etc.
Kalibratie/productie van mengselgassen

Stikstofoxide kan worden gebruikt als ruw gas voor kalibratiegassen en mengselgassen.
